The Damage Done

Noah fractured 4 parts of his skull, which resulted in a large epidural hematoma. He had a severe amount of bleeding internally there but that has stopped. The doctors think it is because his fractured skull allowed the hematoma room to expand. Hopefully the blood will absorb back into his body but if not it will have to be surgically evacuated. Noah broke both femurs, both tibias, both radius, both ankles, his left humerus and ulna, his right hand, right hip, and lastly some fingers too. All of the just mentioned fractures are complete breaks...the bones were separated. He also has other minor fractures in his neck, limbs and possibly a rib, among others. He has been in the ICU at Cooper for 7 days now, and they said he will be there until tomorrow (Thursday). He is getting a cat scan tomorrow to check the progress of the hematoma. Noah is stable and doing better than expected. It is a miracle we are all alive...it truly is! Noah has the longest recovery ahead of him, but with prayer anything is possible. Thank you all for your prayers and fasting, we know those prayers have been answered as we speak with Noah and monitor his miraculous recovery.

  1. hey noah...first let me say how much we love you...we pray for you individually and together as a family DAILY, and know that the lords work for you is so not close to being done...so after your full recovery, we look forward to seeing you and feeling your sweet spirit. they say that children who are very young still have clear memories of heavenly father, which fade with age...i know this to be true as i remember rylee trying to tell me of your spirit and closness to heavenly father. you have a special place in heavenly fathers heart, and rylee sees this so clearly and can only verbally express this with the words "NOAH IS GOD" she tells me this often, and i know what she means...she can see your spirit and the special connection you and heavenly father share. please get back to your ward family soon. we will continue to pray for your comfort and healing. we love you !!!

  3. NOAH!!!! Just wanted to let you know I love you!!!! I remember the good times we had chasing each other around the church, to see who could walk in circles the longest, I'm pretty sure you always won. It definitely wasn't the same walking around the church, while waiting for parents as uusual, without seeing you somewhere!!!! I hope you feel better so I can see your smiling face again, if not around the corner at church, at least online!!! ;-) Take care! Love Ya!

    Love

  7. Noah-You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I was very upset to hear your unfortunate news, but am glad you are doing better than expected. Just wanted to let you know that you hold a special place in my heart and were a fabulous and memorable student at Rossi Intermediate. I feel very privileged to have taught such an amazing young man.
